NeighborKonnect Messaging

SMS Terms

Terms for text messages sent through NeighborKonnect for HOA, COA, resident, visitor, access, support, and SaaS product workflows.

Effective date: May 5, 2026

1. SMS Program Description

NeighborKonnect may send text messages for HOA and community association workflows, including account verification, resident notifications, visitor pass updates, gate or access communications, maintenance and work order updates, architectural request updates, violation or compliance notices, payment or assessment reminders where enabled, security alerts, support responses, and requested product information.

Message availability and content depend on the community, feature settings, user role, and consent status. Some communities may not use every SMS feature.

2. Consent To Receive Messages

By providing a mobile number to NeighborKonnect or to a participating HOA, COA, property manager, or community organization, and by opting in where required, you authorize NeighborKonnect and its messaging providers to send text messages related to the applicable community, account, request, visitor, access, support, or service workflow.

Consent to receive marketing or product-information SMS messages is not required as a condition of purchasing or using NeighborKonnect. Consent for community operational messages may be managed by the community and by your available notification preferences.

3. Message Frequency And Costs

Message frequency varies based on your community activity, selected preferences, active requests, visitor activity, security workflows, payment reminders, and support interactions. Some users may receive only occasional messages, while active residents, staff, guards, or managers may receive more.

Message and data rates may apply. NeighborKonnect does not charge you separately for receiving SMS messages, but your mobile carrier's rates and plan terms may apply.

4. Opt Out

You can opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, or another clear opt-out request to an incoming NeighborKonnect text message when replies are supported. After your opt-out request is processed, you may receive one final confirmation text.

Opting out may prevent delivery of important text-based community, visitor, access, or service updates. You may still receive non-SMS communications through the platform, email, phone, mail, or your HOA's normal channels where permitted.

5. Help And Support

For help by SMS, reply HELP when supported. You may also contact NeighborKonnect at support@neighborkonnect.com or contact your HOA, COA, property manager, or community administrator for community-specific questions.

If you change or deactivate your mobile number, update your NeighborKonnect profile or notify your community administrator so messages are not sent to the wrong person.

6. Carrier And Delivery Disclosures

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS delivery may be affected by carrier coverage, device settings, filtering, outages, unsupported numbers, roaming, or other network conditions.

NeighborKonnect SMS messages are not a substitute for emergency services. In an emergency, call 911 or the appropriate emergency number for your location.

7. Privacy

We use SMS-related information to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and document messaging workflows. This may include your mobile number, message content, consent and opt-out records, delivery status, timestamps, and related account or community context.

For more information about how NeighborKonnect handles information, review the Privacy Policy at /privacy.

8. Changes To SMS Terms

NeighborKonnect may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued participation in an SMS program after updates are posted means you accept the updated SMS Terms.
